With so many labels claiming to be “natural,” “clean,” or “non-toxic,” it can be hard to know what truly supports your skin’s health. But no worries! At Parkii Organic Skin Care, we put together some frequently asked questions that should help guide you in the right direction.

Is organic skincare better for your skin?

In short, yes. This is especially true if your skin is sensitive, reactive, or you’ve experienced irritation from conventional products. Organic skincare is formulated without synthetic fragrances, dyes, or harsh preservatives that can trigger inflammation. Parkii products, for example, are made with certified organic botanicals known for their calming, nourishing, and skin-repairing properties.

Do natural products actually work?

They do when they're thoughtfully formulated. Ingredients like babchi oil (a plant-based retinol alternative), rosehip oil, tremella mushroom, and others all have clinical studies backing their benefits. Nature is powerful, and when used with care, organic products derived from nature can deliver visible results, from improved hydration to visible reduction in fine lines and discoloration.

How can I tell if a skincare product is truly organic?

Look for third-party certification. Parkii products carry the USDA Organic seal, meaning they meet rigorous standards for ingredient sourcing and formulation. Be cautious of brands throwing around the term “organic”; if there’s no seal or certification, there’s no guarantee.

Is “organic” better than “natural”?

While “natural” can mean anything from plant-based to minimally processed, it’s not a regulated term. “Organic,” on the other hand, means the ingredients were grown without pesticides or synthetic additives—and certified accordingly. At Parkii, all our skincare products meet organic certification requirements, meaning that 97%+ of the ingredients are organic (natural ingredients are used when organic options aren’t available).

Should I switch to natural or organic skincare?

If you're concerned about what goes on your skin, especially if you're managing a health issue, have sensitive skin, or simply want to reduce your toxin load, the answer is yes. Even one product swap (like a moisturizer or cleanser) can reduce your exposure to common irritants.

What’s the difference between natural and organic skincare?

Natural ingredients come from nature. Organic ingredients are natural and grown without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or GMOs. Organic certified skincare products must meet stringent quality requirements and must contain at least 97% organic ingredients.

Is organic skincare good for sensitive skin?

It can be an ideal choice. Our founder developed Parkii after healing her own health condition and working with women undergoing cancer treatment. We’ve seen firsthand how gentle, plant-based skincare can support even the most delicate skin.

Is natural skincare safer?

Generally, yes—but only when done right. Some natural ingredients can still be irritating (lemon oil, for example). What matters is the formulation. At Parkii, we avoid known irritants and always prioritize ingredient safety, efficacy, and gentleness on the skin.

What’s the best clean skincare brand?

There’s no single answer! But you may want to choose a brand that is transparent, certified to guarantee the highest standards, and rooted in values you trust. If you’re looking for USDA certified organic formulas made in small batches with love, Parkii might be the one.

Curious about making the switch?

Start with one product, like our Regenerating Vita C5 Crème or Berry Clean Cleanser, and notice the difference when your skin is cared for by nature.
